Job Title: Logistics Assistant

Job Type: Full-time, Hourly, In-person

Location: 324 Jefferson Street, Fort Collins, CO 80524 (Required)

Hourly Wage: $20/hour (averaging 35 to 40 hours per week)

Hours: Monday through Friday, 9am - 5pm

Preferred Qualifications:

- Shipping and Receiving experience: 2+ years

- Data Entry experience: 2+ years

- Inventory Management experience: 2+ years

- Proficiency with data management software like Excel/Sheets or similar

- Proficiency with project management software like Monday or similar

- Proficiency with Google Drive and Google Suite

- Based in Northern Colorado (Full-time, in-person role)

- Ability to perform tasks with a "no task is too small or too big" mentality

- Previous experience in a similar role or with a similar size business

Education: College degree not required, but please list your education on your resume

Company Overview:

Vortic Watch Company is looking for a highly organized and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Logistics Assistant. We are a small but rapidly growing company located in Fort Collins, CO, dedicated to providing high-quality products and top-notch customer experiences. We are a manufacturing company focused on luxury wristwatches, and many of the watches are custom built using antique American pocket watches. We're also introducing a new brand and product line called Colorado Watch Company and making some of the only truly American-made wristwatches right here in Colorado.

Role Overview:

As a Logistics Assistant, you will play a crucial role in keeping our team and company organized so we can provide the highest quality products and services to our customers.

Your primary role will be assisting our Customer Service team by handling all inbound and outbound shipments. That includes physically opening boxes and packaging and shipping orders, but also taking inventory of what we're bringing in and sending out.

You will also assist the Watchmakers and Machinists by keeping our inventory of parts organized and making sure we never run out of components or any supplies needed while building and shipping watches.

Your responsibilities will also extend to maintaining the organization of our facility, managing inventory, and handling supply orders. You will be a key support resource for our team and contribute to various projects as needed.

- Must be based in Northern Colorado (full-time, in-person role).

- You are an “Apple person”, not a “Microsoft person” (this is not actually a non-negotiable, but we use Apple devices company-wide).

Additional Details:

- You will report to, and work closely with, our Head of Customer Service.

- This is a full-time, hourly role with the possibility advancement after 12 months of excellent, reliable work.

- A non-disclosure agreement will be required.

- A criminal background check will be performed before an offer is made to the final candidate.
